GEO-16 Content Scorecard
Score your content against the 16 research-validated pillars that determine AI citation probability
Research-Validated: UC Berkeley GEO Study (Kumar & Palkhouski, 2025)
How This Tool Works
Score each of the 16 sub-pillars from 0-3 based on how well your content implements that element.
The tool calculates your GEO Score (quality threshold) and Pillar Hits (breadth of implementation).
Research shows content achieving ≥0.70 GEO Score AND 12+ pillar hits achieves 72-78% AI citation rates. Both conditions are required; meeting one but not the other does not reach that rate. This pair is Gate 1 of the methodology's two-gate content assessment (§6.8) — a pass/fail threshold that cannot be offset by technique scores. Content failing Gate 1 returns to the Technical and Content streams before further assessment.
Educational Use Only: This tool is provided for learning and self-assessment purposes. Results are based on your own manual evaluation and do not guarantee any specific AI citation outcomes. The methodology synthesizes academic research but actual citation performance depends on many factors beyond content quality alone.
